Stopover At Frankfurt

We had a 10 hour stopover at Frankfurt on our way back to Singapore. Took this opportunity to head into the city and take a few photographs. Here are a few.



Dem Wahren Schoenen Guten, Frankfurt’s Opera House, at Opernplatz. Almost one of every 3 postcards have this building featured in them.

Beautiful art work in a Frankfurt train station. Its a pity that such talent would be wiped off the very next morning when the cleaners go about doing their rounds..

Evening Out In Antibes

There were just 3 participants left by 4pm of the last day of the plugtest, so we decided to take the rest of the afternoon/evening off to visit Antibes, about 20 miles away from where we were.

Managed to take a few photographs before it was too dark.

Street scene in the evening. I’d say drivers in France are very skillful, considering how difficult it might be to drive along those narrow alleys.



Shops here close quite early. By 630/7 in the evening, most of these places were shut down.

One of the many restaurants in Antibes. Considering Antibes’ size/population, this town probably has much more restaurants per capita than any other place I have visited so far.

Trip To Stockholm

I was in Stockholm for a week in February last year. The temperature was -5′C, but coming from a country with outdoor heating all year round (Singapore), we simply loved the cold and the snow! Since we had just that afternoon to do our sightseeing after the SIPit12 event, I was on a photo clicking spree.. 3 36-exposure rolls in almost as many hours! Yup those were the days, when I was yet to own a digital camera. These are few of the 100+ photos I took.
