Building A Free IMEI List
The IMEI, (short for International Mobile Equipment Identity) is a unique 15-digit number used to identify all GSM and UMTS mobile phones. For most phones, we can find its IMEI by keying in the sequence *#06#.
I need a list of IMEIs, but in order to build such a list, I’d either have to [a] shell out 40 Euros/month, [b] own each and every phone there’s out there, or simply [c] ask your help.
My other alternative would have been to mass mail all my contacts, but since I am not at all in favour of that, hence this post. All your contributions are very much appreciated. Thank you well in advance!
The format of an IMEI is AABBBB-CC-DDDDDD-E. Where,
| AA | Country Code |
| BBBB | Final Assembly Code |
| CC | Manufacturer Code |
| DDDDDD | Serial Number |
| E | Unused |
To kick start this list, here’s the IMEI for a Siemens C45, 350674-37-639805-1.
I understand that people might have concerns regarding the serial number part of the IMEI. You can just “XX” it .. like for example, mine would look like 350674-37-XXXXXX-1

Phones at hand:
Nokia 3230 – 355399-00-XXXXXX-X
Nokia N70 – 004400-69-XXXXXX-X
But I am curious, why do you need all those IMEIs? There must be a hacker site with this info somewhere…
