Would You Take An 18 Hour Flight On An Aircraft With Just 2 Engines?

777-200LR
Say, you had the choice of taking a nonstop flight from Sydney to New York, on this aircraft, would you take it? Or would you prefer something with a few more engines perhaps (plus with a few stops along the way)?

Even though flying Singapore Airlines (especially on long haul flights) is much better when compared to most other airlines, I certainly did feel slightly uncomfortable on a recent 18+ hour flight from San Francisco to Singapore on an older cousin of this airplane, a Boeing 777-200ER, simply because it had just 2 engines, and we were flying across the Pacific Ocean!

By the way, there are some pretty cool animations, images, facts & wallpapers about this aircraft at 777.newairplane.com/. Do have a look.

woah, 18 hours!!! i’m usually too freaked out to sleep on airplanes anyway, and knowing the number of engines certainly wont be helping!
