A blogger with a lot of guts

It takes a lot of guts to actually sit (and pose for photos) on the edge of a cliff with a 600+ metres (almost vertical) drop.. That’s exactly what Gerður did, when she visited Preikestolen earlier this month.

About Preikestolen
[Summarised from http://www.mediumgeek.com/node/view/74]
Preikestolen (a.k.a. the Pulpit Rock), is a montain plateau ~600 meters high over Lysefjorden. It is not possible to get all the way with a car so you have to park it and walk up ~ 4 km to a point which gives you stunning view like this:

I dropped her an email commending her for her “courage”. This was her reply..

..A lot of people have complained to me because I did this. But it wasn’t even scary while I was doing it. It was much scarier to lie on my stomach and stick my head off from the cliff…

Now, what can you say to that?

You can read the rest of her travel journals of her trip around the south and west coast of Norway at www.mediumgeek.com.

On a not-so-related note, I was Googling for the keywords “It takes a Lot of Guts!“. This is what I found as the topmost result!

it takes really a lot of guts to sit on the edge of the cliff, but the true essence of the word “guts” is a cat passing through a lot of dogs.. this one is really cute… i love it!!!
